Poole

Set within a mid century seaside villa near Sandbanks, this split level home balances warmth and restraint with moments of bold expression. The WC was conceived as a deliberate point of surprise a space hidden behind closed doors where colour and pattern could run free. Inspired by the graphic language of the Memphis movement and the sun soaked optimism of Palm Springs, the room layers playful geometry and sculptural form to create a joyful, high impact experience. Designed entirely by the studio with complete creative freedom, it brings delight to guests and daily pleasure to its owners while remaining a contained moment that does not overpower the wider home.

“We love Palm Springs and we love colour! Although the main house is more muted, we wanted our guests to open the WC door and say WOAH! Zoe introduced us to the Memphis design movement- which we love. We got exactly what we asked for and this room is now the talking point of our home. We adore it!”
